Well hello! I’m so excited you’re here!

I’m Lindsey, Owner and Lead Designer of Fleeman Floral Events. I bring a unique approach to floral design as both an event florist and an urban flower farmer. My passion for flowers goes beyond arranging them—I'm deeply involved in growing them right here in the heart of the city. This hands-on connection with my blooms allows me to create designs that are not only stunning but also fresh, seasonal, and sustainable.

As an urban flower farmer, I cultivate a wide variety of flowers, focusing on vibrant, eco-friendly blooms grown with care and respect for the environment. Some of my absolute favorite flowers include foxglove, delphinium, hydrangea, dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, and celosia. These blooms inspire my work, adding charm, texture, and character to every arrangement I create. By incorporating locally grown, seasonal flowers, my designs are not only one-of-a-kind but also rooted in the natural beauty of each season.

For me, building meaningful connections with my clients is as important as nurturing the flowers I grow. I take the time to understand your vision and work closely with you to create floral designs that perfectly complement your event. Whether it's a wedding, corporate function, or an intimate gathering, I aim to bring the freshness and artistry of my urban farm to your special day.

Let’s work together to make your next event an unforgettable experience with floral magic rooted in sustainability and local beauty!

My home-based studio is in Glen Burnie, MD where I am also an urban flower farmer. I grow some of the flowers in your arrangements personally. This ensures quality, availability, and freshness of the flowers for your event. I support other local flower farms and try to use local blooms when possible.

Why is using local flowers important to me?

  • It reflects the area where you are and season for your event.

  • Using local flowers reduces the energy required to get the flowers for your wedding. Instead of being flown halfway around the world, they travel just a few miles drastically reducing the carbon footprint left by your wedding.

  • Locally grown flowers are just the best quality and the freshest flowers hands down.

  • Often you can use more fragile flowers that just don’t transport well from wholesalers.

  • Your wedding flowers contribute to the sustainability of the flower industry and gives back to the environment.

I am committed to giving back to the community. I love it when you can continue to enjoy your wedding flowers after your wedding. But we also understand that there are only so many flowers one can take home.

If there are remaining florals after your event, we will facilitate sharing your wedding florals with local nursing homes to brighten their days and help to bring smiles to faces that might not be in the habit of smiling. In addition to your arrangements, I will also create additional arrangements with any remaining flowers to send along as well. So booking with me also enables me to give more back to the community.
